Help Help with folders

Of course, I to am new to the Android world and not very tech savy..

I have been reading through some of the threads and I see that when we connect to the PC the phones is used as a Removable Disk.
I am trying to move pics/music onto my phone. When I try to open the Removable Disk folder I get a message that tell me please insert a disk into drive e.

At this point I'm not sure what to do.

Thanks in advance for the help.. I know this is second nature to most of you..

when you are plugging the phone into the pc a menu pops up on the phone screen, are you choosing disk drive?

Other option is to remove the sd card and put that in your computer and move the stuff you want onto that

I didn't even pay attention to the disk drive option..

problem solved.
