Root Help with good information

There is so much information on rooting the rezound, but it is hard to put all the pieces together. I was hoping I can have someone answer a couple questions for me.

I would like to root my rezound and remove the bloatware and maybe get wifi tethering working. I would also like to keep it so I will still receive OTA updates. Is this possible? If so can someone point me in the right direction?
 
I appreciate your link thanks. I just tried to follow that tutorial and the link to the superuser files is not working.

It seems the info changes so fast around here it's hard to keep up with!
