Help help with google sync

i forgot my password for google and after resetting it now my dhd wont snyc with my account tried putting in the verification code in on the phone but it just keeps bringing up another string to input over and over again what can i do to fix this?

Reset it properly though a desktop pc/mac or whatever you have and then delete the account from the phone and re-add it.

dont know how to do that i did password rest through my pc. deleting the account on the phone says it will need a factory reset also because of this problem with google i carnt use the market

Use the Active Sync and disable the normal Google account, that's what I did.
