Help With Handcent Custom Vibrate Patterns!

So a lot of people have the problem with Handcent that their phone won't vibrate at all. Well my problem is a little different. I have made my own custom vibrate pattern, but no matter which steps I follow I cannot get it to vibrate the custom pattern, instead I'm still getting the stock vibrate that my Hero uses for the stock messages application. HELP!! Thanks!

I am sure you know this but the default messaging app must have notifications turned off. Other then that, I am using custom vib and have no issue.
You might try uninstall and reinstall. I know its a pain but at least the setup in handcent is a lot better then it use to be.
