Hello,

Anyways i'll go straight to my problem... When i listen to music nowadays my phone will randomly lose connection with the headphones and will stop the music.... then i press play again and the music play really really deep and stuff and sounds terrible.... so i unplug them and replug the headphone back in and it works fine....

so i this a software issue? because i have tried multiple headphones and the problem keeps happenning........ :smokingsomb::confused::(:smokingsomb:

Need some more information, what rom are you running, have you tried using a different player?

Again, have you tried using another media player? It'll help try to figure out whether it's hardware or software related.

It sounds more like a resource problem stalling your player vs a headset or jack problem to me. Next time you lose your tunes, go into your settings and see what is running. You might also try grabbing a different player from the market and see if it behaves the same as the stock player.

I noticed if i use the app "fast reboot' the music will work perfectly again so this is a software probably...

what do you recommend for a media player?

ok im downloading it now i will report back tomorrow....

Just wanted to chime in, I've had the muffled sound on paranoid android using many different audio players (Spotify, Google play music, Apollo, and the music app). I haven't found a fix sometimes unplugging fixes sometimes not.

i haven't had a problem with poweramp yet [i just jinxed it i bet :)] so far it has worked ,but i will give it a week... ,but is there a free version not a trial something similar.

wow i jinxed it because i am still having this problem... so its a phone software issue. .. can i fix this?

this has happened to my last 4phones though...the phone is about 3 months old

You can try compressed air in earphone jack (gently) to see if something is stuck there, but it sounds like bad hardware....

i tried the air today and there is nothing in there. The last 3 times i returned my phone because of this... what could i be doing wrong?:confused::confused:

Although it seems highly unlikely, I wonder if you have a specific set of headphones that has some kind of problem, and you keep killing your devices with it.

Even with my limited experience, I've never seen someone have so much trouble with so many different devices (with regard to just using headphones). On the other hand, most of the people that I know rarely any form of "plug-in" style headphones with their devices anymore.

I have the Apple brand headphones with the remote on the wire... could this be causing a conflict? if so what brand of headphones should i get?

You'll have to do a little research on your own, but here's a post to get your started, might be applicable;

Final Soultion: Why Most HEADSETS WON'T WORK - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com

Regarding other headphones, what is your budget, and have you considered some form of bluetooth headphones to eliminate the wire?

yes but they go around your head or look awkward is there one that is like wireless earbuds?

what brand of headphones do you recommend?(high quality and prefeably a remote please ) my budget is $10 - 35 thanks in advance..

Most remotes are designed for use with Apple products and might not work with Android, when I get a call my media player pauses the music and while I hear the call through the headset the mic on the phone picks up my voice without problems. You don't need special headphones just for the phone. For blue tooth I use a Samsung HS3000 adapter that allows you to use any headphones as a wireless headset. Considering that I have 6 pairs of high end headphones this allows me to still have good sound quality without having to buy a dedicated pair just for phone calls.
