Help with LG Phoenix

Hey there and welcome to android forums!

I've moved your thread into the Phoenix root section, give me a few and I'll research and see if I can find a root method for you :)

Are you on froyo 2.2 or gingerbread 2.3?

Hi, I'm on Gingerbread 2.3 installed with LG PC Tool.

I don't have this device, but I can almost guarantee root would be required to downgrade.

By the way, what your trying to do is use the froyo method, you'll need to follow the gingerbread method in post 2

Is it normal that Superoneclick.exe turns in "not responding" when it says "waiting for device"? I run Windows 7

Sorry, ignore that "not responding" thing. Superoneclick says I've succeeded. How do I know I'm rooted?

Go into the backup/restore tab of titanium backup, choose on any app and it'll give you options to backup/freeze/uninstall

I rooted by the gingerbreak.apk method and root checker states I'm rooted. so my question is how do I make a recovery in case I brick my phone again? and what backup method shoule I use..which comes first? I have rom toolbox so I can freeze what apps as well? when can I make my phone look different without bricking it? I bricked zte avid with rom toolbox, just trying to change sh*t around..
