Hey there and welcome to android forums!
I've moved your thread into the Phoenix root section, give me a few and I'll research and see if I can find a root method for you
Are you on froyo 2.2 or gingerbread 2.3?
Hi, I'm on Gingerbread 2.3 installed with LG PC Tool.
Alright, go to this link

I just put it up, you'd need to follow the directions in the second post.

Good luck
I don't have this device, but I can almost guarantee root would be required to downgrade.
By the way, what your trying to do is use the froyo method, you'll need to follow the gingerbread method in post 2

Sorry, ignore that "not responding" thing. Superoneclick says I've succeeded. How do I know I'm rooted?
How's it going?
Proper root access?
I would recommend titanium backup, just for the simple fact that you can backup the apps just in case your phone starts to act wonky and you can restore whatever it is you deleted.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup
Go into the backup/restore tab of titanium backup, choose on any app and it'll give you options to backup/freeze/uninstall
