Root Help with MMS after flashing fixes

Second post today, Android gods got it out for me. But here goes...

I have flashed both the CM 10.1 mms fix and the voicemail fix, which shows fixing mms in the title anyway.

I can't receive any pics. I either receive nothing or get a text with the words that am sending from my email account attaching photos too. Text will state that it removed 'MIME' or "jpeg" from the text. I try to bring up the APN'S, but either long press or quick tap won't allow me to open and change setttings. I can open build prop and modify those. I've tried to leave with sprint settings and changed to Virgin settings, but don't get pic's with either. I receive SMS just fine, but when changes to MMS.....ZIP..ZERO...NADA!!!

i just flashed dirty unicorns 2.o like five minutes ago and this is what i do to get mms up and running:



1. obtain a copy of "apn backup and restore" from the market. use titanium backup to convert it to a system file. flash a good rom with working mms and use this app to make a backup.

2. flash dirty unicorns, and the latest gapps. flash the 10.1 mms fix. reboot.

3. use voice dialer to "open apns" and click the radial button next to "sprint" i have also noticed that this rom does not let you access the apns directly, i have no clue why...but your new apn backup and restore app will circumvent this need.

4. use apn backup and restore to restore your known good apn settings

5. send yourself an mms

6. profit?




i know its a pain in the arse. but hey.
 
I need help with the titanium backup and converting to system file. Don't see the option for this, I do see the apn backup restore. But it gives me error that won't work on android 4.0 phones.

Long press on the app in titanium backup and the option to convert it will be there
