Help Help with my battery drain

Hi all. The battery life on my Galaxy Note is draining too fast. Its showing Android OS using 77%. Im turning off wifi and the phone shows 0 apps open. Any ideas?

Whenever I see Android OS using too high a percentage of the battery I usually reboot as without rooting the phone you don't get enough of an overview to see which system process is causing the problem. Normally the reboot results in normal battery usage (for me). If this does not work for you then you have some setting which influences some system tool and causes it to run a lot. The extreme solution would be a factory reset and change settings one at a time until you find your culprit.

It could also be that you are syncing status with some online service constantly. Are you using any such service?
