Help with my Evo!!

I love it and now im 99% sure im keeping it and staying with sprint!!
manage to fix my battery problem too

how do i get swype or whatever its called for texting i dl something but it didnt work

and how can i Skype, i read someone could do it phone to PC...
short story my dad has a pc and i have the EVo can i talk to him so i can show him my newborn (cant travel with him and my dad is on his dying bed *cancer*)

so id apreaciatte any help with it

Hey bud glad you are loving your evo as much as all of us! I want to be the first to say mazal tov on your new born as well as how sorry I am to hear about your father.

As far as skype goes you can download fring which works great.

Fring worked marginally for me for one week. Then last week I got an email from Fring saying that Skype banned them due to sudden surge in usage.

You can of course auto-forward calls to your cell phone # but that is not what you want.

We are not impressed at all with QIK which came with the phone, but it might just be that we need to try it more.

I think we need to try out the evoman2be913 link to developer

one last thing i always listened to the Joe Rogan Podcast on my iphone but now im screwed im dl a mp3 to play it in my Evo (not really a big deal) but if i wanted to podcast on my evo is it possible....i tried google voice with no luck
