Help help with my samsung galaxy s plus

first, im new to the forum so if this is in the wrong place then feel free to tell it
here is some basic stuff
1. Manufacturer - samsung
2. Model - galaxy s plus i9001
3. Software version - 2,3,6
4. Specifics of the problem - proces.acore chrashes when i launch the contact
5. not rooted

I may be off topic but I think this is in the wrong forum.
The phone described here is Galaxy S plus (i9001) and the forum section is for Galaxy S 2 Plus (i9105)
