Help with new 2.1 OTA

Well i received the 2.1 ota this morning at 4 am. The htc clock widget with weather on my home page is having issues. When i tap on the weather it just goes to a blank screen can anyone help me on this please thanks.

Did you reboot/pullthe battery?I was having some issues and that solved them.

Yeah pulled the battery still the same.

I am trying to get the weather/clock widget to work right as of now, the reset fixedthe contacts missing.

Go to the Home Screen > Menu > Applications > Manage Applications

Select the weather application and clear the data. Hopefully, that will work.

I went one further and cleared the data on everything that had the word weather in it. It's working now. Hopefully it will sleep now, but that is probably another issue.

Factory reset was only way for me to cure both.

having the same problem going to give it a try,anybody using spare parts on 2.1,mine quit working.

Installed the OTA manually, haven't had a problem with the weather app and my Spare Parts still works just fine.

Now I found it under HTC widgets. What I didn't remember from when my phone was new is there are twelve different options to try, some analog and various digitals. Little arrows on the bottom of widget to cycle through them.

Agreed, I just wanted to see how the new HTC Widget worked.
