Help with Next phone decision?

Hey guys I need some help with my next phone purchase decision. I'm going to be able to upgrade coming up here on the first of November. Now the two phones I'm trying are the Samsung galaxy s3 ,and the new galaxy note 2 now that's if it comes to sprint to. Now one of my biggest concerns is the apple and Samsung lawsuit and how will that affect both phones from a customer services standpoint and with updates a and stuff. That's really my biggest concern and if it will be worth making the switch because currently I have an iPhone 4s which I'm bored of and I know iPhone 5 will be the same thing with a longer screen width wise it will be the same. So any help and suggestions would be much appreciated.

Most of us are expecting minimal to no impact from the lawsuits.

There are a number of discrepancies in the case making recent news, and appeals are expected. Various embargos have made news over the past year or so, those have ultimately been reversed.

We certainly expect the Note 2 to come to Sprint, that's definitely going to be an exciting model.

Myself, I am insufferably pleased with my Sprint HTC Evo 4G LTE - another phone that Apple tried keep out of the country after a high profile lawsuit they made a great deal of, and updated this past week - so you can understand my skepticism and encouragement here.

Remember, most of the technology press is all about advertising revenue, and sensationalism drives traffic up, especially during periods of phone releases.

Legal truths tend to be far more conservative and pedestrian than the blogosphere would have you believe.

Welcome to the forums, welcome to Android! :)

Thanks for the reply. That's what I wanted to hear. It's good to get positive news. I use to have a htc evo 4g awesome phone. I bet the 4g lte one is awesome as well. I didn't know that apple tried getting that phone banned to. That's awesome to hear that the note 2 might be going to sprint if so I will have a tough decision in November because both the note2 and galaxy s3 seem like awesome products.

Nexus. Need not say more.

While I love mine and anxiously waited for it on Verizon, I'd still really like to use a Note. If it comes to VZW as it's rumored to, I could possibly jump.
But, if the rumors of multiple Nexus(s) is true, I'm quite intrigued. So many choices this fall. :D

I will for sure. Thanks for the link man I'll most definitely check that thread out. From what i've seen the note2 looks awesome and it feels comfortably in hands as well. Definitely a lot of choices this fall for sure. I still got some time to decide.

Thanks man. Me too it will be interesting to see what apple will bring to the table. Now from the pictures I saw of the housing for Iphone5 it doesn't look that promising. All it is is an iPhone4 with a larger screen length wise width its still the same as in iPhone 4 and with 4g thats all unless they added something new since I've look it up lol.

I'm actually hoping that Samsung doesn't get their hands on one this time around, but the odds are not in my favor.

How about the successor or the HTC One X? Any ideas when that is coming out? I believe it's called Endeavour C2. I currently have an HTC phone and am thinking of sticking to HTC as I do like their 'sense'.
They did say back in august it would be ready in september but till now I can't really find any news or more specs...
What do you guys think?
