Help Help with Picasa and SD card.

Before I bought my Galaxy S2 I already had all my photos uploaded to Picasa and was delighted when they appeared on my smartphone as if by magic!

I assume that the images on my S2 are not stored in its memory or on the SD card, as there is no trace of them when I connect it to my PC and browse files?

The Gallery application of my S2 seems very primitive and will not let me arrange or organise my photos in any way so I downloaded Quickpics, but of course it can't see any images as they probably aren't on the S2 to begin with.

How can I transfer my Picasa albums that appear on my S2, to my SD card? If I can get them on the card then presumably I can organise them in Quickpics?

Finally, if I find myself without any wi-fi or phone connection, will my Gallery images not be accessible?

Thanks from a real newbie!
