Help help with picture messages

I am unable to send or receive picture messages with my month old Moto G. Can you guys compile a list of troubleshooting ideas please.

Need more information. "send picture messages" needs some clarification. E-mail? Some form of text message? What app are you using?

Contact your carrier and ask them to send you the settings for Internet/MMS/texts. Also if it is picture messaging you require, you need to be connected to the internet normally to send/receive these. Depending on your location and carrier it is possible also that your plan doesn't allow picture messaging.
