Help Help with power button!

The power button on the top of my EVO has stopped working tonight. It will not power off the phone, wake up the phone or put the phone to sleep.

Should I take the phone to Sprint or does someone know how to fix?

I have tried a battery pull and it didn't help.
 
I'm having the same issue with the power button the last few days, although it does work AFTER hitting the button several times!

Would like to know if there's something that can be done to fix this issue?
 
So, if you tried a battery pull, are you saying that you can no longer get your phone to turn on? If the button is physically broken, then I would assume not. If you can still get it to turn on from a completely off state, then there must be something else wrong. If you determine that it's a physical issue, though, you'll just have to take it in for service.
