Root Help with root?

Ok so I have successfully rooted my phone. Now i want to get clockworkmod (especially to increase the multitouch capabilities ) but they all say it needs an unlocked bootloader..i dont want to unlock it because i need to keep 4g...are there any workarounds?

Basically, to keep 4g your only recovery option is the "bootstrap recovery".
