Root Help with Rooting and Odin

Ok so first thing I did was root my phone using the 1 click thing. My phone was rooted and I had superuser permission. Then I installed Odin. After installing Odin, I don't have root anymore. Do I have to root again? Someone said Odin into the backup. I'm not sure what that means or how to do it

What did you flash with Odin. Link to the thread you got it at?

Can't find the link to where I got it but I installed this with Odin
CI500_VZW_EB01_FROYO_REL.tar.md5

And I lost the root I had. I got my phone rooted again but I can't seem to install MIUI.

Sounds like you flashed the stock software (which would remove root as a result).

Unfortunately, I don't own a Fascinate so I'm not too much help but do you need the links to Muiu?

Nope I have the links to MIUI. The problem is I can't seem to get it to flash using Custom Recovery. It gives me an error each time.

Found another post that said:

"The asserts on the new builds haven't been set to work with cwm 3. You have to flash a previous build of CM7/MIUI to get to cwm 4.0.0.5 and then flash the new build. So, flash previous build, let it boot fully, boot back into cwm recovery 4 and then wipe and flash new build and profit. It will work"
