Root Help with rooting my Evo 4G!

also, if you want to upgrade to 2.2 you can use unrevoked forever and that will enable you to update while rooted.

Im trying to root and its saying that the zip file is an old one. Can someone please help?

Tell us the step you are on and which method you are using. I am not sure how far you have gotten but I used the following method 2 days ago and it couldn't have gone better. Check out the Video Walkthroughs that really helped me.
