Help with rooting on baseband version LS670MVD

Im trying to get the rooting process started but i have Baseband version LS670MVD with android v2.2.2. I know, never again will I accept a ota update from sprint but can someone tell me either what i need to revert back to in order to begin the rooting process and maybe a link to where i can find the steps. The "OPTIMUS S ALL THINGS ROOT" page has info for V9 and VC which i would imagine is where i need to get back to.
