Ok, i just got my Evo a while ago and learned about rooting a while ago and wanted to know all i could about it.
1. Is using unrevoked not the same as rooting the other way?
2. After rooting will all my contacts sync back to my phone? How do i sync them with gmail or whatever?
3.If i root and put the stock img. on, is that the same as having the regular phone rom, just like i bought it?
4. and if i put the stock img. that is rooted on, or just root period, will i loose any abilities on the phone, like will i loose the market or anything?
5.Is there a way to remove the root?
6. Do i do a nand backup before a root or after? Im confused what that is anyway, could use some explaining
