Root help with rooting

hello everyone, i just got my lg motion ms770 last night and want to root it. can someone pleasepoint me in the right direction with a working root and maybe some roms if out. please and thank you for any and all help =)
 
yes i tryed it and i get the run around. i got all files needed except
IS11LG_SystemBackupTest.signed.apk this is nowhere on the net someone please help me
 
also how dose this work? any steps? i see the missing IS file is there

it works on all vErsions. make sure you're on the debuggy mode and phone is on charge mode. you don't have to copy and paste anything. just run the script and follow the directions on the command prompt.
 
i tryed it and nothing i get 'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command
operable program or batch file..... the device dose not reboot or anything =(
 
Check list.
Did you install phone drivers?

Is your usb cord the original that.came with the phone?

Did you go to system settings/developement and check usb debugging?

Did you goto connectivity and clicked charge mode and then return.to home screen.

Did you completly extract the zip file?


Did you.donate any thing of.value to me?

I did this all except use the original cord. I extracted all files

These are the instructions on the other site that I followed:

Download lgm_root-recoveryv2.zip
Unzip lgm_root-recoveryv2.zip to your C: drive somewhere

Open the un-zipped lgm_root-recovery folder and install the USB drivers by opening
LGUnitedMobileDriver_S4981MAN37AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.7.2.exe

Enable USB Debugging on your Phone
Press the "Menu" Capacitance button
Press System Settings
Press Developer Options, Press OK
Press a check mark on USB debugging, Press OK

Plug Phone into computer with USB cable
Set the USB Connection Type to "Charge Only"
Press the "Back" Capacitance button until you are at the Home Screen

Open the un-zipped lgm_root-recovery folder and double click the rootandrecovery.bat file

Follow the On Screen Instructions

Not much on ROM's yet, but some are being developed now. AOKP and CM10 don't have SMS or 4G working. Some of the guys on here are building some ROM's from stock, slimmed down and cool stuff added.
 
1 day I bricked my phone at work and I did not have my USB cord. so I use my coworkers USB cord for her phone . and it did not work
 
do this. . open command prompt and navigate to the rooting folder then type adb logcat and press enter.

Maker sure phone is plugged into pc.

See if adb starts logging.
