Help with Sensation boot loop.

Hi guys, you probably get fed up with helping people with little knowledge attempting to use custom roms and messing up, but I have looked everywhere and tried many different things to no avail. I tried to install ICS onto my phone (which I already rooted) and now I'm stuck in a boot loop. I am on a mac also incase the solution involves using a computer. When I press volume down+power other information comes up - Pyramid PVT Ship S-OFF RL, HBOOT-1.27.1100, Radio- 10.14.9035.01_M

Also at the top it says Revolutionary. When I go on recovery my phone loads 4EXT recovery touch, but I cannot load back-ups as phone crashes on start up if i do.

Sorry about my lack of knowledge, thought I understood what I was doing. Will try provide any more information if required, all input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Anyone? I think I would have managed to fix it but USB debugging is not enabled and SuperCID is not installed on the phone. Also my phone is on Vodafone in the UK.

I'm a little weak with HTC phones (I am trying to get one that I can root, my wife won't let me touch hers) so I haven't gotten totally up to speed on the issues that come up during the process.

You mentioned that you are able to get into recovery. Have your wiped data and cache? Most new roms require this.

PS. I am going the ask that this be moved to the all things root subforum for your phone so hopefully folks that root these things in there sleep will see it. Sometimes they don't wander out of the all things root section very often (I didn't for a long time with my Droids:D).

Assuming this is Android revolution HD ICS you are installing, it sounds like you haven't read the instructions :p

You need to flash the updated firmware package before flashing ICS as the Radio's are incompatible. The firmware package can be found in post #4 here: [ROM] Android Revolution HD™ 6.2.1 | ICS | High Quality & Performance | 3.25.401.101 - xda-developers

Please read and re-read every word of the instructions for the firmware package as flashing a radio incorrectly can have massive implications and could possibly brick your phone.

Looks mbatson89 knows more than I do:D. I'll keep up on t the thread and help whee I can. Hopefully I'll learn something too:)
