Root Help with setup

Kernel: King's #2
ROM: FrankenRom B6
Radio: 2.05

My problem is that many other people post this same setup and that they are setting there setcpu speeds to 1190/245. When I try this my phone resets itself after about 5 seconds. Is there anything I am forgetting that I should be doing to keep this from happening. Any help would be appreciated.
