Help with stock phone app

I have what I think is a basic question, but I cannot find any answers for...

When a call is received on the Moto Droid is there any setting that automatically unlocks the phone instead of having to slide the unlocking mechanism on the screen?

I wish I could just answer the phone when it rings instead of having to unlock and then answer...

Any help would be appreciated.

There may be, but the purpose of the swipe is to allow easy access to *silence* the ringer / not take the call.

Thanks. I definitely agree with the two posts regarding the use of the slide unlock....just annoying sometimes.

just found this app in the market under the tools section, it might help your problem. try "Tedd's Droid Tools (beta)". let me know if that was what you were looking for.
