I'm having a sync issue with my HTC Desire. I'm running windows home and outlook 2000 (Calendar) but using windows contacts (for Contacts). All running smoothy until last few weeks when I started getting sync failure messages. I tried repairing data by writing from pc over phone, tried various sync options, i.e. calendar only, contacts only, etc.
Initially the calendar would not sync, but now I have that working OK, but phone won't sync contacts. I have sync manager set up to update calendar only but I can't survive with that alone.
Also, I'm running sync 2.0.40, I installed the later version but it wouldn't recognise my phone.
Any ideas???
