hi! i have recently bought a samsung Galaxy SII and i just downloaded GO keyboard ( i actually have a few other keyboards downloaded too such as simeji) so that i can send and receive texts in japanese. I am able to read the texts fine, but when i send the texts, people only receive '?????' and nothing in japanese. why is this? please help!

You should first check with your carrier to see if they support Japanese text... some don't.

go to setting in message, change the input method to automatic instead of gsm alphabet

Give your carrier (service provider) a call and ask if they support Japanese text.

When in "messaging mode", could you check "settings -> Input Mode"?
This should be set on "automatic".
It may currently be set on "GSM Alphabet", which won't do the trick!

sorry guys, i dont get where this input mode is? when im in a text message and i long press the screen it comes up with input method and thats it and when i click this it on displays options on which keyboard to use, nothing about being automatic, and when i go to settings there is nowhere that says input mode? sorry to be a pain!
