Root Help with the 2 MIUI ICS ROMs

You are correct. One has hwa and the other does not. There is also a difference in the source of the Rom. The main difference is in the translation. Miui.us uses USA English translations and miuiandroid uses UK translations.

Swiper was banned from miui.us so now he has to go through miuiandroid.

As far as functionality right now...they are both giving me issues. Wait till tomorrow when swiper updates his build before trying his.
 
The previous build for both still gave me lag. Everything was fine except that part. I notice lag with anything AOSP I use even with the stock kernels it comes with. That kinda sucks that he got banned (wondering why lol).

I wanted to try the ICS again and seeing how vastly one can customize everything I decided to try MIUI again. I've tried AOKP for standard ICS with so so results. Have you tried Deck's ICS? I saw only download links and no screenshots or changelogs.
 
Long story short (and honestly I'm probably missing important pieces of it)......MIUI.us's last official GB builds really sucked. The phone didnt even make calls. So swiper took over the project and made really great GB ROMS. Then MIUI.US got angry because they said he didn't give enough credit, so they banned him.

His GB ROMS are great, let me know if you need a link to the last one he released.

I think I remember flashing his GB one before and it was pretty good actually. I just came from the MIUIus and it was tooo much lag for me. I'm flashing Deck's ICS P24 (I believe that's the latest) right now. (literally lol)
 
I flashed my first ICS build which happened to be Deck's yesterday, coming from MikG v3.11. I liked it a lot, there was just a ton of lag and freezing going on, drove me nuts. Besides that it's great, needs a little more work.

Today I flashed Evervolv's 4.0.3 ICS build and I absolutely love it so far. It is quite bad a$$, no lag, freezes. Solid ROM so far, definitely my daily driver for now. I love MikG, but this one is sweet (If you ask me).

Where is this Evervolv's version of ICS that I flash? That's the only one I haven't tried lol I didn't see the link anywhere. Probably didn't look well enough
 
Its on supersonichtcevo.blogspot under "ICS ROM for EVO stable version".

You have to flash Gapps along with it, it is Evervolv version 12 and it is very stable, like he says. Good luck with it, the links are right in the paragraph....again I hope you like it!!

Thanks! I'll check this out tomorrow. Gotta get up early and I went to CM7 for the night lol
