Hi All,
I having problems with my htc desire and my 3 network.
In my workplace i have used an N95 and N97, i also have a 3uk mobile broadband dongle.
All have been unlocked and debranded.
I have always got a great 3g signal, in fact the laptop i'm typing this on is currently connecting at hsdpa.
However my Htc Desire, sitting in the same place refuses to do anything other than roam onto a slow 2g service (Orange?) I have phoned Three for assistance, however their "overseas" technical assistance person kept repeating "your htc Desire may not be capable of recieving a 3g service"
This is depsite me telling him that early 3UK stocks of the Desire weren't 3 branded....
Anyway, i reaslised i was wasting minutes off my life even bothering to get any sensible help!
And so i turn to you. Can anyone offer any help, suggestions to get this phone to the hsdpa signal that i KNOW is here (proved by laptop with 3uk sim)
