Help Help with unknown icon

Please help identify this icon. The one that's next to the space & third from the right. (if you look closely, it's circled in red) It showed up in my notification bar a few weeks ago & it doesn't go away. I don't have earplugs connected or a mono earplug-microphone combo. I've gone thru the manual & nothing matches. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Bluetooth? Looks like an ear with signal waves.

Go into Settings, Call and uncheck Hearing Aids
