Root Help with unrEVOked

Hey guys, I finally decided to root my phone tonight. I'm following a video guide and everything was going great, I installed the android USB driver and am now at the point where I run the unrEVOked recovery flash tool. I've got my phone set with USB debugging on but when I connect my phone via usb I get a pop up saying new hardware found "windows needs to install driver software for your ADB" and the unrEVOked tool doesn't recognise my phone. What do I do? Do I select that same driver as the missing ADB driver or repeat the first step?

Sounds as if your Android driver is not installed! HTC Sync should also be uninstalled.
