Help with USB transfer ?

Hello guys, this is my first post here, so please be merciful. I am trying to copy some songs on my phone, using it as a media player, and it doesn't work. More exactly, some songs copy, and when the bar is at a random spot, the copying stops. I can't include a pic because it's my first post, so if you don't understand just say so, and I will post a picture.
I am using Android 4.0.3.

This happens to me too. I simply have to start the transfer again. When transferring a lot of songs I sometimes have to reconnect the phone about five times.

Yeah, well, the problem is there are song that just won't copy themselves. They stop at one point, and if I try and copy them again, it just stops in the same exact spot.

You could try emailing it to yourself, or copy it onto a MicroSD card and then put that in your phone.

How are you copying? Are you using MTP connection or using the
Settings/Wireless & Network/USB utilities and connect via USB storage method?

The USB storage method allows your PC to view the phone as a thumbdrive and transferring that way seems much more stable. Also, make sure the USB ports are clean and maybe try transferring a few files at a time. And not have too many multiple transfers. Even thumbdrives have problems with multiple transfers.
