Root Help with User Installed Apps

[PhoneMan93]

Where in the phone are the user installed files located?
I found them in "/system/sd/app"
But I don'tthink its the right place because when i pull the Swype Beta app it wont let me decompile it.
All i want to do is theme it to match with CTMod, but I would like to do it myself. Can anyone help me find it?
