Help Help with What's App

Hey all

I was wondering if you could enable what's app in any sort of way to turn on the phone and tell me when I have received a message while the phone is idle, just like a regular message would do. I dont see any setting or way to do so with a app, so I thought I'd post here to see any answers.

Thanks

Well I just checked and it doesn't seem like you can using just the application settings :) but I didn't know that because I use an application to handle all of my notifications so I don't have to see or open the Notification Panel at all, which I really don't like the look of.

I use an application called Notifier Pro which allows you to customise each notification, and one of the notification options is called "Wake", which switches the screen on when you receive a notification from your email or other applications such as WhatsApp.

I haven't chosen the wake option for any of my notifications because I don't want the phone screen to switch on while it's in my pocket and drain battery, and if I'm using the phone then the phone will already be switched on, but who knows, someone might want to lay down at night & have the screen switch on for them whenever they receive a notification with the sound off, that's the beauty of choice, and the freedom to customize.

Greetings :)
