Help with wifi profiles

I wonder.... Is area at home to small as to Y it is not working

Whenever I'm trying for a location-based profile I make sure to give a little extra room - particularly when I'm using network location instead of GPS. It may be overkill, but I set my Work profile to a 400m radius, just to make sure that my phone doesn't suddenly leave Silent mode as I'm wandering around the building.

With Autolocation, the radius can be very small, indeed. My Home radius is 50m for example.
25m may be too small, though.

could be set to 25 meters at home

That seems awfully tight for network-based location. I've seen some people report drifts of 1500m. I haven't personally seen that much variation, but that's why I tend to set those regions a bit wider than I would initially think.

@codesplice, we're working with AutoLocation (which uses Google's Fuse Location service), not Tasker's own location services based on network.

Fuse Location, thanks to the latest changes in the OS, scans for Wifi networks even when Wifi is switched off (Settings > WiFi > Advanced > Scanning Always Available).

By the way, Careingemt, change the radius of your Home geofence while you're at work, so you can appreciate even better how well it works once you head back home! :)
(Yes, I'm optimistic)

You change the radius in Autolocation (Manage Geofences > Home > ^ > value > OK > Accept Geofence)

(sorry for the double post)

No that's far too small! :D
Set the radius to 50m. At least. Up to 100m.
(I use 50m for Home and 65m for work - it's bigger...)

One last thing: Check the Advanced settings in AutoLocation and uncheck the "Exit Geofence when Connections Lost" tickbox to be on the safe side.

I think I should remove line 6 before I leave work

Reason :

WiFi was not being kicked off without line 6
Reason we added line 6 is to activate Keyguard .... I never arrived home... Geoface was set at 12

This command in line 6 you're talking about, assuming you talk about the Boot task, it's about setting the ConnectionMode to Auto.
In your case, because we've not done anything about having a Manual mode yet, it should ALWAYS be Auto. 24/7. And the boot task does not need to be run more than once after a reboot. Hence the name.

Also there's nothing you should add or remove or run manually when you move about, everything should work automatically all day long without having to do anything (well, once we've figured out what the issue is...). A well programmed Tasker means you never open Tasker.

If your work covers moving about large distances (unless you want to do some tests), you should make your Work geofence big enough (if you move up to 100m, make it 200m radius). And make your Home geofence 100m for a start. Might as well play it safe for now.

On a side note, can you confirm that you have a data connection all the time (i.e. when WiFi is off, for whatever reason - right or wrong, does data take over? it should with our set up)?

I'll edit if I can think of anything else.

Arrive home

Keyguard ... Deactivated

But at home is not green

WiFi does not get kicked out

If this is right I'm happy

I'm not happy yet. :)
The At Home profile should be active (i.e. in green).
Did you reconfigure At Home's Autolocation condition by tapping on "AutoLocation Geofences Geofence Name:...", tapping on the Edit button (aka the pencil icon), tapping on "Geofence Name", selecting Home again, tapping on the Tick (top right) and tapping on Back a few times until Tasker is closed?

EDIT:

Also open AutoLocation, tap on Manage Geofences, tap on Home and check that your location is inside your geofence.

........ Did not know I to Re configure thanks for explaining how to do so very helpful in my understanding exactly what to do but I knew how to configure

Autolocation is set to inside
