Help with wifi profiles

Got it.
I removed one line too many in my tidying up.

We need to reset ConnectionMode to Auto in the Boot task.

Add this action:
Variables > Variable Set > Name = %ConnectionMode, To = Auto

And no, your phone does not need to be rooted (mine is not) and we're not using Secure Settings here.

Is this right ?

Have you force run the boot task (by pressing 'Play' from inside the task) to reset ConnectionMode? Then exit Tasker by pressing Back repeatedly.

Well it could be the odd bug (it happens every now and then with the location). Please try disabling/reenabling Tasker by long pressing on the Tasker icon (top left in Tasker) and keep an eye on it.

Let me know how it goes. At the moment I can't think of anything else.

Did that... No luck... Kicks me out of WiFi at home & at work Maybe my phone has a bug.

Should I try to Uninstall tasker... Reinstall Re download add line 6..... It did not kick me out of WiFi before I added line 6 in boot task if this helps

No need to uninstall/reinstall, I'm sure we can fix it. Is the 'At Home' profile active?

I am at work now... But to answer your question... No it never was active regardless of line 6.... If I take out line 6 WiFi will stop getting kicked off

A few things you can do to check everything is ok:

Check the value of ConnectionMode in the VARS tab.
Create separate profiles for the 2 conditions of the 'At Home' profile, one with just the Autolocation Geofence condition, the other one with just the variable ConnectionMode. The tasks associated with these profiles can just be an Alert like a Flash (or otherwise called toast).
Then check the state of these 2 test profiles to see which condition is not met when you are at home.

3 hours sleep last night son was up
Not sure I understand

I have a option to use WiFi at work... Could create another Geoface for work to test while at work...... However work WiFi kicks u out every 45 minutes and it prompts you to resign in to work WiFi which is a hassle

1. My suggestion is to create one profile with the condition [Variable Value %ConnectionMode ~ Auto] and a separate profile with the condition [AutoLocation Geofence, Name = At Home]. Then you could see which of the 2 conditions of the 'At Home' profile is not working.
2. Creating a 'At Work' geofence and profile would also be a good exercise for you! :) (even if in practice it won't be very useful)

So I set up Geoface at work at 3 meters to vibrate & flash walk to other end of work (at hospital) walk back to where I created phone should vibrate and flash when I arrive within 3 meters.... Not working #*#* I'm becoming frustrated.... I want this to work

I will try your sugestion

Did your suggestion

Works perfect both green

when I disable i get flash stating left work and phone vibrates

When I Re enable phone vibrates and flash States at work
