Root Help with wireless tether on xtrROM 4.6

I'm on firmware version 2.1 using the xtrROM 4.6. Love the ROM!!

I was attempting to tether wireless to my new iPad via barnacle and the wireless tether on the rom without success

On wireless tether, the iPad can connect to the signal but when I attempt to navigate to a web page it says I'm not connected to the internet.

On Barnacle, it has a message the it "could not connect to NAT, will try again later". The iPad does not see the signal.

Any ideas? Did I mention that I love the xtrROM!!!

When you connect to your Wireless Tether, does your Eris show a notification that a device has connected? If I remember right, it should.
I am thinking your issue is with your iPad, not your Eris.
How far from your phone is your Pad? Your phone has a good 3g connection? Wifi is set to "on" (not sure if this does anything for you, but worth a try.)?

have you tried using Wireless Tether with any other devices? any success?

Tired the Wireless tether on my iPod touch. It works!

Now why doesn't it work with the iPad?!

Anyone get their iPad2 to tether to their Eris?
