I have tried rooting for the second time to no avail.
Is there a way to get rid of sprecovery. After that, how do I go from ese53 to ese81

Where do you get stuck in the rooting process? There are sages here who can walk you through it... have you tried moving the .sbf file to the root of C: or, second, My Documents? Did you DL the right drivers for RSD Lite?

Yes to all. Just when I am trying to install a new rom or the rooted 2.1 file, the installation gets aborted.
