I try to follow a link or launch a site from using the stock browser and it attempts to load and then dumps me back to the home screen or the app that the link was in, twitter, friend stream, peep, FB and so on.
But strangely Opera works fine...
Any ideas?

I am running Uncommon Sense and one of the kings kernels.

This is driving me mad...
 
I had the same problem (albeit only with the stock browser) after I updated to 2.2. I ended up doing a factory reset and it solved the issue. I however am bone stock, so I don't know if my solution is relevant in your case. I just figured I'd throw it in as the issue is similar to mine.

Just a suggestion, you might have better luck in the All Things Root section as that is mostly rooted users like yourself and they may have more relevant info.
