Help Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I have a droid eris and I'm trying to set up my school email address, it's a windows live address (xxxxxxxx@huskies.bloomu.edu). I've tried troubleshooting the problem by trial and error, I know nothing about phones or technology, just plugging in my email address and password anywhere that said it. The closest I've come to getting it to work was by choosing POP3/IMAP but when I click "Next" it keeps saying "authentication failed. please verify your username/password." I have no idea what my username would be, so I just put my full email address. I'm at a complete loss, any idea's on how to get it to work?

Your username would be your full email address, and your password would be the password you log in with. It should be asking for the mail server as well. You may need to find out from someone at your school what the mail server address would be.
