Help Help!!!

I'm new to the smart phone world and would like to upgrade my GT540 running on Android 2.1 update 1 to 2.2, the problem is I've followed all the instructions for the Carphone warehouse unlocked file but when I try to install V20B_00 CarphoneWarehouse+Fastboot.kdz I get a message saying Extract File Error.

I am using Windows 7 64, I even re-downloaded the files again but still coming up with the error message. Now am I being completely stupid here and missing something out or is there an explanation to all this.

either the file is corrupted or your Antuvirus is messing with KDZ Updater... First try to disable AV & try... if it doesn't work then download again...

I had the same problem with the Carphone Warehouse software, try a different ROM with fastboot.
