Root Help!

Hi Guys,

So I downloaded a new version of SPB Shel and installed it on my phone.

Then I restarted my phone, and its stuck in the "M" boot logo.

Tried popping the battery and did nothing.

Any ideas????

Try a factory reset, you want the wipe data/factory reset option
Steps grabbed from here:

1. Power off your device.

2. At the same time, press the volume down button and the power button on the back until you see the text "Fastboot" appear in the top left in corner of the screen.

3. Use the volume down button to scroll through all the options until you reach Android Recovery".

4. Pressing the volume up button will select the option.

5. You should now see the famous Android Triangle Exclamation screen.

6. Tap the bottom right hand corner of the screen, just above the search key and that should bring you into the main menu of the system recovery.

The volume buttons will allow you to scroll through these menu items:

reboot system now
apply sdcard:update.zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition

To select the option, press "OK" in the lower lefthand corner of the screen.

If the factory reset does not work you might have to sbf back to stock. Thats really odd though, I have been using spb shell for weeks and I have had no problems even after the update.

Does SPB Shell work with live wall papers? I want to install it, but not if I can't use live wall papers.

It does not support live wallpapers but its cool anyway.

Same thing happened to me. I had to wipe my phone and start over. No biggie but it was n*t clenching excitement until I got it situated. Lost root, lost sideload, just said forget it and ever since I've been running stock. I just haven't got time for the pain.

Rooting is easy till something goes wrong. (I think that's a famous quote)
