That sucks because my iPhone never did any of this why does every one say android is better? Apple never gave me problems.
 
It's not the fault of the phone itself more than the fault of verizon and HTC (but probably moreso Verizon) not giving a shit about their customers. They pushed an update to our phones a few months ago that screwed everything up for people. I'm one of the fortunate few that dont' have these problems thankfully. I'm planning on rooting this phone this weekend as there are just too many things to deal with now. Battery life was already abysmal upon releas eof this phone and verizo neglecting to do anything about anything with this phone is pretty much equivalent to them taking a deuce on your chest.
 
The "Official" word is that there is an Over The Air (OTA) fix coming soon, but no promise as to exactly when. My phone dropped 3G coverage this morning, and when I tried to do a "Factory Reset", it bricked, because I have no data signal, so can't complete set up. Customer service has been really poor, I suspect because no one really knows where the screw up is. If I could switch to an iPhone this afternoon, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Good luck, and stay tuned.
 
So do you think that ice cream sandwich will correct this? Also is the thunderbolt the best android phone on Verizon?

Ice cream sandwich is still a ways off and may never hit the TB officially. Gingerbread should fix the issue once the OTA happens. As for is the TB the best android phone on VZW, that is a matter of opinion, I personally like it and would rather have it than any other one out currently...other people will say otherwise
