Hey Guys can you's help
I cant access my market everytime I press the icon it says 'loading' then after about 5 seconds it comes up with a msg saying "Attention a networrk effor has occured. retry or cancel and rturm to the previous screen"

Retry doesnt work either

Is the phone brand new - have you set up a google account? You need one to access the market from this app. Settings, Accounts, add account.

If you do have an account then give this a try;
Go to settings, applications, manage applications, All (ie system + downloaded) find the market application then tap, tap "clear cache" then try that....

If that doesn't work go back into the same screen and tap "clear data" and try again.

This will force the app to reload everything (open it on wifi!)

Did you root it and start removing stuff? Some people remove too much and cause problems like this.

I am currently having this same problem as well. My phone is not rooted. I have tried clearing the cache, force stop, restarting the phone and no luck. I even downloaded the market apk here http://dl.androidnext.de/com.android.vending-2.apk and that at least got me to a prompt asking to add a new account but when I select yes the screen reverts home. I really don't want to factory reset again. This will be the second time I've had to do this all because the ****ing market won't load.

I am currently having this same problem as well

It might be a device-specific issue - what handset is giving the problem?
