Lurker
I don't know where to post this but...
Lastnight My battery was half on my Droid X and it just randomly shutoff.
I plugged it in and it just shows a green light.
I tried to remove the battery and hold the on button then place the battery back in the phone but.. Still did not work.
If anyone knows my problem please post a solution! Thanks!

Will it still not power on at all?

Do you have a friend with a DX that you could test out their battery in your phone?

sounds like you have a bad battery, which is a bummer :(

if you have a friend with a dx test out the battery, or go into verizon and have them test it out, if they give you any lip tell them whats going on

Still wont work
It just randomly powered off while I was watching a video
I plug it in and a green light comes on and stays on
I left this on the charger for hours
Still nothing
Any key combos I could do to make this work?
Thanks

What is ''Rooted''?
I was watching a video then all of a sudden it made a little buz then automatically shit off
I cannot turn the phone back on.
I was using it on the charger when it shut off
The charger works perfectly I have another one and I made sure
I tested it with another battery to see what it might be.
I cannot find out how to fix it and I am frustrated on this!
So thank you guys once again.
If you have another solution, Let me know
Thanks!

Take it to your VW store. Since it's stock and it sounds like a hardware failure, I doubt there's much we can do.

The power button is what turns it on. Plugging it into your ac adapter or computer may turn it on, if it's capable.

This doesn't seem to be a problem that's easily diagnosed without hands-on.

Assuming you didn't install a custom rom, your only options are to work with another VW store. I've never heard of a VW store that wasn't willing to help a customer.

Do you have insurance on it?

How long have you had it?

Did they even offer a replacement phone?
