Is there a newer version of software for the Eris? I have 1.5 and Android Marketplace will not let me download apps. Keeps saying I do not have a device associated with my account even though I have already downloaded 3 apps and they show up on my account!!

The Eris is up to version 2.1 - you should definitely have been notified that there is an update available.

Settings->about phone->check for update (it may be "system updates" - it's something like that.)

If that does not work, there may be a way to get the update otherwise.
