Root Help :(

[androiduser96]

When I mount my SD card it does everything till it says:
"Scanning SD card media files..."
"external memory is preparing"

it just stays there and nothing happens till like 20 minutes later.
Why?

EDIT: Man, do I always post in the wrong section! Please, move me. Again

either you have a corrupt file on the card, or you need to reformat it, I'd pull everything off the card onto your desktop, reformat the card then see if it works, then check the files
