Root Help!

I am a rookie and new to this, so be gentle. I ahve a sensation 4g that my daughter keeps trying to take from me. i decided that when i see her next friday ill give her the phone. I rooted the phone using revolutionary and that went fine but when i tried adding a new rom, all i get is a loop with the white htc screen. it looks like everything is wiped. i can still get into recovery but dont know what to do

first thing i would try is to wipe,and restore a backup of a good,working rom.

failing that,try and install a different rom,or run an RUU.

what rom were you on prior? was this a branded phone to begin with? from what carrier? have you superCIDed the phone?

I am having the same problem and cant figure out what i am doing wrong....i have a rooted supercided s-offed sensastion 4g and I cant seem to flash any rom at all. I can restore my backup in recovery and reroot the phone. fine...i have tried the following roms......

Pyramid3D_v8.2.0_XE/ RCMix_S_234_v2.5(1)/ update-cm-9-20120404-NIGHTLY-galaxys2-signed/ and cm7.

every time i flash it i do it from recovery or or clockworkmod rom manager but it just stays on the htc white screen . the longest i have left it like that is 2 hrs. If anyone could explain if i did something wrong i would appreciate it thanks....oh and btw i completely wipe my data and cache and delvick cache

there are no links to check out your roms,but first guess is that you are using stock firmware,wich is incompatible with the ICS roms that youre running.

typically the reom dev will list firmware in the first post that you should use. if you want to link the roms you tried we can check into it a lil further
