Please help, i just rooted my phone and flashed the rom. but now im stuck at the htc screen. when i got back into hboot it looks for the ph98img and says main verison error and tells me to push power to reboot and it does it all over again. what can i do to get out of this?!

you are stuck at the htc screen becasue you didnt get the kernel installed.

what you need to do is:
1)download this main version tool
2)remove PH98IMG with a card reader plugged into your PC,and at the same time place the main version tool on the root of the sd card.
3)either launch(select fastboot in hboot menu,then fastboot boot recoveryname.img or boot to recovery(select recovery in hboot menu) depending on wether or not you have recovery temporarily,or permantly installed
4)flash the main version tool in recovery,just like you would a rom
5) you can put PH98IMG back onto the sd card,with your card reader,or by toggling usb storage in recovery.
6)power the phone off,then back into hboot. the main version prollem is now fixed,so your kernel should flash,then your phone should boot.

it is also worth noting as more and more roms are being set up for s-off phones to flash the kernel in recovery,that you can save your self some hassle with PH98IMG files by launching recovery from fastboot as i briefly described above,and in more detail in step 2)install a recovery here: http://androidforums.com/rezound-al...ys-noob-friendly-root-guide-start-finish.html
