Lanbing

Lurker
Some guy splash some water on me as a joke, but it got into my phone and now it stopped working.
When that happened, i panick and turned on, an action I immediately regret and tries to fix by putting the phone in rice for a day and a half.
Now the phone only beeps, then never lights up.
I checked the phone for red, but i am not seeing any on my phone, except it shows red on my battery.
Is that the only water damage indicator or there is another one that might be unknown to me unless I open the phone completely.

First of all...slap the shiznit outta the guy who splashed you and tell him you're not a couple girls at a pool party. Then make him pay for a new phone. Look inside your phone under the battery. There should be an indicator with red markings. If the red is smeared or gone the jig is up. Good luck!

i dont know if this will work but maybe put the phone in a back of uncooked rice. i have been told that the uncooked rice will absorb the water.

How many water damage indicator is there on Samsung Galaxy S3 lte?
Is there only one on the bottom of the battery or might there be more?

There are usually 2 water tamper indicators on mobile phones; one on the battery next to the prongs and one inside the battery compartment usually adjacent to the battery's marker.

If they're white with red x's in a neat pattern, the phone is fine. Otherwise, as enigmadroid state, if it is not marked with a pattern of red x's (or something similar) then that guy just voided your warranty. :(
