what roms work to get s-off

It's not a rom that gives you s-off. It's a method of unlocking your phone/bootloader. I suggest you do some reading, there is alot of information on rooting/s-offing in the all root "stickies".

http://androidforums.com/evo-v-4g-a...ing-evo-v-4g-roms-kernels-using-fastboot.html you will find info on s-off at the bottom of the op.

Hell, you don't even need a ROM installed that's what I did, not the best idea but it worked.
